As with my original amazing animals fact cards the set features 36 cards, 35 animal cards and one key card. 

Each animal card features my illustration on one side with the animals common name, then their scientific name, where they lived, what they ate and when they went extinct along with 3 facts, one of each is why they are now extinct on the back, and as with our other cards the background colour shows you where in the world they came from.

The object of these cards is to introduce you to some of the truly amazing animals that once walked this earth but are now lost forever, some due to a change in climate and lots due to our effect on the planet. 

I watched how my eldest was effected when he learnt about the Tasmanian Tiger, and how he couldnt believe that there was this animal that he loved that he would never see because we led them to their extinction, it made him understand how important it is to protect the animals we have and made him even more passionate about their conservation, and I want to bring that inspiration to lots of other kids too, whilst teaching them about some awesome animals that they may not ever know about without this. 

Cards are approx 108mm x 78mm and come in a fully printed box making them a great gift, they are perfect to pop in your bag for entertainment when you are out and there are lots of ways to play with them, from testing each other on the facts to sorting by herbivores or carnivores, where they live or even using them to draw from and as the starting point of more research and project work. 

 Illustrated and designed by me in Wiltshire and Printed in the UK, using FSC certified card, and coated with a water based finish making them recyclable at the end of their life. Presented in a fully printed and laminated box. CE tested. There is no plastic wrap on any of our products and all items are posted plastic free.
