A darling, versatile little cupboard, that was probably a portable filing cabinet, or cash box, as it appears to have had a handle at some stage in its life.  The tambour (roller door) gives it bags of character.

It could be used flat, on a desk or table, for stationery, or on it's side for makeup. The possibilities are endless..

It's been lovingly polished (by me).
